Course history

Każda sprawa prowadzona procesem zapisuje swój bieg: kto, kiedy i jakim przejściem ją przesunął. Dzięki temu da się odtworzyć decyzje bez pytania kogokolwiek.

A matter remembers its course

A matter run by a process records every step: which transition moved it, who did it, and when. This history is at the record, so at any moment you can see how the matter reached where it is, without reconstructing from memory and without asking coworkers.

Contents of the history

ElementWhat it says
Transitionwhich move was made, for example Approve or Reject
Personwho made the move
Timewhen it happened
Commentthe justification, if the transition required one
Stagesfrom which stage to which the matter moved

If someone acted as a substitute for an absent person, the history keeps both: who physically made the move and on whose behalf.

What it is for

  • Accounting for a decision. You can see who approved and with what justification, so there is no dispute about whether something was approved.
  • Finding a blockage. You can see which stage a matter stood at the longest.
  • Clearing up a mistake. When a matter went the wrong way, the history shows where and by whom, so it is easier to fix.

Example. A client asks why an order was fulfilled despite the missing deposit. The history shows that the Fulfill transition was performed by a specific employee on a given day, with the comment "manager's approval by phone". The matter's course is established, not reconstructed from memory.

What the history does not cover

The history is a record of facts and cannot be edited. This is deliberate: if it could be corrected, it would lose its evidentiary value. If a mistake occurred in a matter, it is fixed by a further transition, which also goes into the history, not by erasing the previous step.
